Clinical Study of Natcitrol in the Treatment of PsoriasisAn open ended, safety and efficacy study was done over a six month period on mild to moderate chronic psoriatic patents was conducted. Amongst these over 20 were scalp psoriasis cases. One of the major findings of this study is that topical calcitriol significantly resolved psoriatic plaques and proved to be quite effective in healing patients suffering from psoriasis vulgaris. Patients complained of no adverse symptoms or other side-effects. In conclusion, topical calcitriol was well tolerated and appeared to be very efficacious. It was beneficial in enhancing resolution and improvement of therapeutic outcome, easy to apply and favorable safety profile |
